CURRENTLY EMPLOYED BY DELVE UNDERGROUND
I am proficient in using Revit as a BIM tool. I have almost seven years of experience in Revit. I use it for modeling, drafting and detailing, clash detections, creating design options, and family creation and manipulation for various materials like steel and concrete.
Bluebeam is my most preferred application for coordination. I use this for creating and addressing comments. With this tool, comments and markups can be made and seen by others in real-time, just like Revit's central model setup.
I am a beginner-level computer programmer. I use Visual Basic and C# to create add-ins for Revit. I use python mainly for coding in Dynamo. I read the Revit API to create my tools. This is a skill that I want to focus on and improve. I aim to create not just Revit add-ins but also standalone tools. I have successfully created one standalone tool which I called PDF Rotate (see demo in Dynamo and Revit Add-ins tab).
I started studying Dynamo last 2018 when I came back from my 3-month secondment in Arcadis, Australia. Now, I lead a small team and train the members on the basic usage of Dynamo. I use this tool often in my projects mainly for documentation, model cleanup, checking, and modeling.
Projectwise program is mainly used to manage information such as models, drawings and sketches, coordination, communication, etc.
Navisworks is a program I use for federated models. Mainly used as a coordination and clash detection tool.
This is Autodesk's main cloud-based storage system where we can do all types of coordination. We use this to create RFIs, share models, upload information, and create or address comments.
Communication Skill:
I describe my communication skill as fairly good. I can convey my thoughts and be properly understood by my Australian and Italian colleagues. My English speaking skill is still improving but I can communicate effectively and have no problems leading project meetings or giving out instructions to junior members of the team.
Detail Oriented:
I am a bit of a perfectionist. I know that there is no such thing as perfection but I tend to focus on the standard and consistency. I also look into the engineering aspect to see if there will be issues. I do this to prevent repetition which takes up a great deal of time.
Time Management Skill:
My time estimate skill is not my greatest suit but it is improving. To mitigate this, I set my tasks to be finished ahead of the submission dates so that there will be ample time to check and, if needed, update/revise.
Leadership Skill:
I share my knowledge, techniques, and know-how with my colleagues and strive to motivate, listen or try to understand them not just at work but also personally. I believe everyone thrives in a non-toxic and friendly environment.
Problem Solving and Innovation:
I always dig deeper into problems encountered at work especially the recurring ones. I research solutions online or create them myself using some tools like Dynamo.
Teamwork:
Although I usually lead, I also delve into production and initiate brainstorming meetings to hear out everyone's suggestions and come up with the optimal solution with the team.

April 2019 - Oct 2021
My Experience:
I continued honing my Revit and Dynamo skills. Learning Dynamo was not only challenging, especially since I was also learning to code in python and read the Revit API, but also fun and fulfilling. I created some presentations for basic Dynamo training and trained colleagues. In late 2019, I started to study how to create Revit add-ins. I use Dynamo to outline the logic flow and use Visual Studio to create the add-in/button for Revit using C# or VB.Net. I successfully created a few working add-ins and a simple standalone program.
My tasks and qualifications:
Carry out technical Revit operations in accordance with the company systems.
Preparation of Structural General Arrangement, Post Tension Concrete, Reinforced Concrete, and Structural Steelwork drawings
Able to work under minimum supervision and achieve deadlines for all tasks.
Work in accordance with accordance with Arcadis CAD/Revit standards and any specific project requirements.
Ability to work within a team and produce high quality work and meet tight deadlines and the ability to work in a systematic and methodical manner.
Lead small projects including resourcing, liaising with Lead Office and producing project progress reports for the Lead Office.
Able to manage and supervise drafting and resources for successful delivery on all projects.
Undertake CAD checking and quality control in accordance with Arcadis CAD standards and any specific project requirements.
Good understanding of Revit family creation.
Provide direction, supervision, and Revit training if required.
July 2017 - April 2019
My Experience:
The first position I held in Arcadis. My main focus is adapting to Arcadis standards and practices. My main role is to support in existing projects. My adaptability and skill earned me my own project to lead a few months later. After 6 months, I was regularized and I was sent 3 months to Melbourne, Australia for one of Arcadis' biggest projects, Melbourne Metro Tunnels. When I came back from Australia, I was included in the Quarterly Performers Awardees due to the feedbacks of my Australian colleagues. This is when I started delving into Dynamo.
My tasks and qualifications:
Carry out technical Revit operations in accordance with the company systems.
Able to prepare routine models and structural GA drawings
Generate output from a BIM model
Understand basic knowledge on Revit Families
Ability to work within a team and produce high quality work and meet tight deadlines.
Undertake checking and quality control in accordance with Arcadis BIM standards and project requirements.
January 2017 - June 2017
My Experience:
I continued honing my skills, training the new hires and leading as the coordinator for the team. I lead meetings, created coordination files/queries, documents while also taking part in the modelling and clash detections.
My Tasks:
Render all types of drafting works
Assist in the preparation of working drawings required in the implementation of the project
Prepare plans and working drawings required
Assist in the preparation of documents, catalogues and other pertinent references that are required in the performance of architectural design functions
Ensure Implementation of the quality plans and objectives of the department and project assignment
Perform task in accordance with the process defined by the QEHSMS Manual.
September 2015 - January 2017
My Experience:
I continued polishing my skills while working on different projects. I tried to find ways to increase efficiency and properly utilize Revit. Soon enough, I became one of the go-to persons in our team. I started to delve deeper into Revit especially in creating custom families. I was scouted as one of the 2 main drafters for a new project, Ayala Malls Manila Bay. The team expanded and I had to train the new hires of the team.
